Bullet train contract of INR 24,000 crore

The country’s biggest government-funded civil contract of Rs 24,000 crore was signed by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) for the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project with infrastructure major Larsen and Toubro (L&T) on Thursday.

The Japanese ambassador to India Satoshi Suzuki stated that the contract project has been given in a time when it was required to improve economic activities.
