Environment Minister participates virtually in Climate and Development Ministerial Meet

Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar today participated in the virtual Climate and Development Ministerial meet in the run up to COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference 2021.

Mr Javadekar stated that, ‘he had suggested COP26 presidency to take up discussion on one issue at a time. He expressed happiness that during today’s meet the issue of finance was discussed exclusively. Also he put across India’s stand clearly and stressed that for ambitions to be set high, finance should be an integral part of it’.
