Fake Job Ring busted in Noida; Seven arrested & computers, laptops recovered

A gang of seven people was arrested by Noida police on Saturday for allegedly duping people under the guise of providing jobs. According to information provided by Noida Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ranvijay Singh, the accused used information obtained from a website to contact people and solicit money under the guise of providing jobs with multinational corporations (MNCs).

“From them, we were able to recover a laptop, a few pre-used SIM cards, and mobile phones,” Singh said.

“Right now, we’re looking through the accused’s previous records to see how many frauds they’ve committed,” he added. Singh also stated that all of the defendants are Uttar Pradesh residents.
