Floods in Bihar’s Hajipur and Saran have displaced thousands of residents across 26 districts due to continuous rain. The situation is still dire, with flooding inundating homes and agricultural areas.

Locals, their cattle, and their families have been relocated from flood-affected regions to higher altitudes by the government. However, the flood scenario has made it impossible for residents to live, since floodwaters in Saran have destroyed crops, leaving farmers with significant losses and debts.
