Good news! Prior to the debut of the Altroz and Nexon EV, Tata Motors introduced new Dark Edition.

The Tata Harrier Dark Edition is a popular colour scheme that will now be expanded to other Tata Motors vehicles, beginning with the Altroz and Nexon EV. In the teaser image, the Dark Edition’s all-black painted scheme looks stunning. Both the Altroz and the Nexon EV will undoubtedly benefit, giving them a more masculine and muscular appearance to their already striking designs. Although Tata Motors has yet to confirm a debut date for the new Dark Edition range, a few shops have begun taking unofficial pre-orders for both models.

The Dark Edition receives visual modifications to the exterior, similar to the Harrier Dark Edition, such as a ‘Dark’ logo on the front fender, black coloured dual-tone alloy wheels, a matte black finished badge, black ORVMs, and skid plates, which distinguishes it from the normal version. To match the appearance, the inside receives modest aesthetic changes as well. The all-black interior provides a luxury touch, and the piano-black dashboard with a gloss veneer looks elegant. Expect similar exterior and interior modifications with the Nexon EV Dark Edition.

The same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines with 85bhp and 113Nm of peak torque and 89bhp and 200Nm of peak torque power the Dark Edition of Altroz, which is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Nexon EV has a 30.2kWh Lithium Ion Polymer battery with 128bhp and 245Nm of peak twisting force, as well as an automated transmission.
