Kashmiri cyclist breaks World Record for Fastest Journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari

A 23-year-old Kashmiri youth set a Guinness World Record for the fastest cycle journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

“Everyone has a dream. But making dreams a reality necessitates a great deal of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.” This was the mantra followed by cyclist Adil Teli, a young man from Narbal, Budgam, who pedalled 3,600 kilometres from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in just eight days.

Adil, who began his cycle journey from City Center, Ghanta Ghar, Lal Chowk at 7:30 a.m. on March 22 after being flagged off by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, completed the distance in eight days, one hour and 39 minutes, arriving at his destination at 7:30 a.m. on March 30.
