Patna-Delhi Rajdhani Express to resume from September

From September 1, the Indian Railways stated that the Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will be run on Tejas rakes with numerous improved amenities. “From September 1, the Rajdhani Express travelling between Patna and New Delhi will be renamed as Tejas Rajdhani,” stated East Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, according to news agency ANI.

“This train has a lot of characteristics from the standpoint of safety,” CPRO continued, “Tejas coaches are furnished with the facility of fire detection and suppression system.” The Tejas coaches are also fitted with an automated plug door system, CCTV cameras, Bio-vacuum toilets, and infant-care chairs in the bathrooms.”

“This train has an advanced braking system; if there is ever a fire situation, the train will stop on its own, and a separate seat has been placed in the side berth so that the side berth passenger does not have any problems,” CPRO stated.
