A 32-year-old lady was scalded in a horrific event after her husband threw hot water on her for not having a male kid.

The incident occurred last week, but the case against the husband Satyapal was filed on Wednesday (August 18) when the victim Sanju’s father filed a police report.

The culprit is absconding, according to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sanjeev Bajpai, and attempts are being made to apprehend him as soon as possible.

Satyapal had also been pressing the woman’s father to obtain Rs 50,000 from her parents, according to the woman’s father.
